About

Working almost 20 years, spaning from art direction and creating strong brands to user experience and building teams, has given me the opportunity to see so many trends come and go. It’s been one hell of a ride, but I’m most excited to see what will come in the future.

We truly live in the golden age of UX.

Why I go up in the morning

My interest for design and art started when I was at a very young age, thanks to my father who came from the old school art world, and studied at Konstfack back in the 70’s together with Lasse Åberg.

My early life I spent playing around with design tools such as Photoshop and 3dstudiomax, creating “digital art”. But at that time I really saw myself becoming a NHL goaltender. But when I burst that bubble at the age of 16, I definitely knew what I wanted to do with my life. I want to change the world with design!

I worked for 4 years as a graphic designer and final artist at a company called BrandFactory where I created, basically, giant stickers for cars. I guess car wrapping is a more used term. This was directly after the gymnasium so I knew I wanted to go more into digital. That’s why I applied for Hyper Island and their program called Interactive Art Director in 2009.

After Hyper I’ve worked within many different fields ranging from cosmetics at Oriflame to auto-motive at BMW, finance and fintech at SBAB and Svea, to insurances at ERV, or media at TV4. I’ve had the experience of working both as a consultant, in-house employment and in agencies.

I have enjoyed every second. Most of all I’ve loved to be able to bring value to the customers. I will always have a big passion for the core, which is designing and creating great user experience, but at the same time I’m finding myself in positions where I help transform brands and organisations, working with employer branding or build strong teams.

What motivates me to go up in the morning is when I see that what I’ve done has inspired and brought value. But most important for me is to see the world through the eyes of my daughters, of who I hope to inspire to go into design as well.
